Today's book is "MY FARAWAY ONE: Selected Letters of Georgia O’Keeffe and Alfred Stieglitz: Volume I, 1915-1933"; Edited by Sarah Greenough. Debra Sullivan says on this book: "Letters are the most vivid way to access the dead." Debra Sullivan has an interesting article on this book in the NY Times Sunday Book Review and you can listen to the podcast where she talks about this book. Georgia O'Keeffe made these letters available with the one the condition that they only be published 20 years after her death. This can be an interesting book and I found the podcast really insightful. One thing that might influence your expectation of this book. O'Keeffe did not define or defend her artistic abilities or directions in these letters but rather concentrate on her relationship with Alfred Stieglitz.
