Occupation:Artist

The exhibit "Occupation:Artist" opened last Friday at the Elizabeth Stone Harper Gallery, Presbyterian College in Clinton, South Carolina. Barb Rehg, president of the Women' Caucus for Art of Georgia and Ann Stoddard, College Curator installed the exhibit juried by Lisa Alembik, director of the Dalton Gallery at Agnes Scott College. Thanks! Only a three hour drive from Atlanta, it's an exhibit worth the trip. It will close on February 21st. Hope you get a chance to see it.

As you can see from the photos it's a beautiful gallery. The work was diverse and enjoyed by quite a few students at the school who attended the opening reception. Several artist including Flora Rosefsky and Gerry Sattele gave artist talks. I always enjoy hearing directly from the artist information about their process.
